Rules and Regulations
Here is a list of online manners, prohibitions and advisories that we would like our players to keep in mind. Please read these fully and enjoy playing the game!
About the PSU Support System
All Phantasy Star Universe GUARDIANS are encouraged to write in to the PSU Support System if they have issues with abusive users, encountered a new glitch, or need help with technical or billing related questions.
Please note this service is offered for full-game PSU players only.
Regarding Scamming and Abusive Users
- On the first behavioral offense, time bans ranging from 1-3 days may be given at the GM team’s discretion.
- Any user who has accumulated three or more warnings from either Game Masters or Player Moderators will be given a three-day ban. After this, no more warnings will be given and the account will be banned on the next offense.
- Any account found to be scamming other players is potentially subject to immediate termination at the sole discretion of the GM team.
- Any user found to continue scamming after their first warning will have their account immediately banned, and will have any and all future accounts removed on sight. Users removed in this way are not allowed to return to the game under any circumstances.
Regarding Glitches
- In-game glitches are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, depending on the severity of the glitch. If you find a critical glitch, please report it immediately to http://help.sega.com .
- Accounts banned for the Grinder Glitch in early 2008 can no longer be re-allowed access to the game.
Regarding Hacking
- Any form of hacking or claiming to hack will result in immediate termination of a player’s account, including any and all future accounts, and in some cases all directly linked accounts.
Prohibited Behaviors
In addition to what is mentioned in the Phantasy Star Universe User Agreement, the below behaviors and actions are prohibited. If you are found doing any of the following, the Phantasy Star Universe management group may take action to have you banned from the game. Also, in addition to what is mentioned here, please do not behave in any other ways which may disrupt the game for other players.
- Harassment
- Disregarding public order and decency in chat
- Stalking (individuals and groups)
- Cheating
- Hacking
- Making unauthorized changes or deletions to game data or the game program
- Using unauthorized game programs or game data
- Fighting or inciting fighting between players
- Trolling, or baiting others to troll
- Taking credit for the actions of, or damaging the reputations of other players or third parties
- Divulging personal information of others
- Posing as another player or as a member of the game staff
- Criminal behavior, or behavior which risks any criminal consequences
- Going against any set rules or regulations
These are basic guidelines. The Phantasy Star Universe management group will take action against any behavior that it feels is inappropriate in circumstances that may not be mentioned here
If you refuse, ignore, or abuse any request that a GM character or staff character makes, you may be removed from the game or your account may be suspended.
