About GMs

Game Masters (GMs) are special staff who oversee and administer help to the Phantasy Star Universe game world. A GMs job is to make sure that the Phantasy Star Universe player community runs smoothly and pleasantly, by checking things both in the game and on the message boards.

In Game

GMs will look into matters that are reported to them, to ensure that everyone's play experience is fun and enjoyable, and support the Phantasy Star Universe community in other ways. While GMs will offer whatever advice or opinions they can, please be advised that there are some situations that a GM will not be able to handle.

Also, please be aware that even if a GM receives reports or complaints about malicious behavior about another player, the GM cannot suspend that player's account on the spot. Reprimanding measures will be taken into account and decided upon by the Phantasy Star Universe management.

Please use only the User Report system to report all matters concerning the game.

On the Message Boards

Please do not post urgent help requests on the message boards directly. The Technical Support forum is not official support, but answers will still be available if the time allows. All reports or requests regarding the message boards or in game issues should still be sent through the submissions form.

Please be aware that GMs cannot provide gameplay advice or tips. Questions of this nature not receive a response, please understand the limitations of the GM staff.

What GMs Do

• Check on players who are interfering with the game.
• Confirm any reported game concerns and follow up as necessary.
• Inform players of announcements relating to server status and maintenance.

GMs can give you warnings and report you if they observe you causing disruptive
      or inappropriate behavior.

What GMs Do Not Do

• Resolve problems between players.
• Make changes or recommend fixes to problems occurring at the system level.
• Compensate for or restore lost items or play data.
• Ask for your Game ID or Password.

GM Corrective Measures

If a GM witnesses a player conducting malicious or disruptive behavior, that player will be warned or reported, and the GM can also take steps to have that player's account suspended.

GMs can also delete inappropriate posts on the message boards, and can have steps taken to ban accounts if necessary.

All reprimands and deletions are based on standards set by the Phantasy Star Universe management group.

Please take note that not all requests for corrective measures or post deletion will necessarily result in those steps being taken.
