GUARDIANS Advanced Content
Ambition of the Illuminus Update
Starting now, the Ambition of the Illuminus (AOTI) expansion pack for Phantasy Star Universe will be
required for online play. This expansion pack is now FREE to download over Xbox Live arcade!
In order to allow for the many important changes being made to the game, all GUARDIANS will be required to
delete and re-download the AOTI expansion pack.
In order to do this:
1. On July 19th at 7:00 PM, servers will go down for special maintenance.
2. Following successful implementation of the GUARDIANS Advanced Content, servers will go back online and notices will be posted on www.phantasystaruniverse.com.
3. At this time all users can delete their current copy of Ambition of the Illuminus from their Xbox 360 HDD.
4. Under your PSU Gamer Tag, go to the "Game Add-Ons" section of Xbox Live and re-download the Ambition of the Illuminus expansion (listed under "P", for "Phantasy Star Universe").
5. Download the AOTI expansion!

Resident Security Department
The Resident Security Department has been added to Clyez City. This is the main place to go for all things related to the new system of upgrading your max level characters -- AEXP, the Advanced Experience you can earn through special missions, or if you're already at the level cap, through any other mission.
The following missions have been added to the Resident Security Department:
- Plains Overlord /R
- Demons Above /R
- Desert Terror /R
- Security Department Exhcange (exchange/upgrade mission)
- Security Department Standby (exchange/upgrade mission)
- Security Department Drop-off (exchange/upgrade mission)
